This picture is of Cliff and I several years ago at the WL Labor Day Festival. This year's festival went well, and as always, I'm trying to figure out how to improve for next year. We could use 2 new ice coolers for giving away water bottles, and I'm going to make a new game called the "Spooky Spinner" with a Halloween theme. Oriental Trading has great small gifts to purchase for prizes. We'll have to use more signs for games so folks know that the prizes and stuffed animals are for the Teddy Bear Plinko game and the new game...not to just walk away with. That actually happened this year. So surprising. Working on getting a new donation box because the one I use now tends to fall over a lot. Looking forward to the Ohio Fish & Shrimp Festival in a couple of weeks. I take the Plinko game and stuffed animals, a freshwater fish photo back drop and Teddy Bear Lady Hats. It is a fun weekend and sometimes people bring stuffed animals to donate.
Thank you Gina Dodds, Lynda Sadler, Nathan Mcconnell Brynn Cropper, Travis and Terrelle for helping me get set up! Much appreciated. Love you. The Teddy Bear Den is looking a little bare.
Labor Day Festival pictures from 2014 showed up in my memories today. Brother Jeff and neice Annie surprised us from Missouri. Missing my son-in-law Bo who is in heaven. My family are my biggest supporters. Tomorrow is set up day!
Trying to get The Teddy Bear Den ready to load up next Friday to take to the ball park for the 53rd Annual West Liberty Labor Day Festival. Believe it or not this is organized, sort of. LOL! I also made a new sign for collection bottle so it looks nicer. Looking forward to the festival!
Make plans to come by and see the Teddy Bear Lady at the Project Teddy Bear & Friends booth at the 53rd Annual West Liberty Labor Day Festival. Watch the Teddy Bear Lady's video below to find out what's going on at the booth this year!
