Project Teddy Bear & Friends' Four County Donation Contest Begins in just a couple days and runs the entire month of May. I'm excited to see how many stuffed animals we receive in May for the donation contest! So gather up your teddy bears and other stuffed animals and send them or drop them off. And don't forget to leave a note to let us know which county you're representing: Logan, Champaign, Union or Clark!

We have come up with several suggestions for events during the Bicentennial Celebration from July 6-July 9, 2017, but we're not sure which days work best for which events. Please give us your feedback, and please suggest any other events you'd like to see at West Liberty's 200th Birthday Celebration next summer! For reference, the following days and eras will be celebrated during the Bicentennial Celebration: Day 1 = Thursday, July 6, 2017 (Era: 1817-1867) Day 2 = Friday, July 7, 2017 (Era: 1867-1917) Day 3 = Saturday, July 8, 2017 (Era: 1917-1967) Day 4 = Sunday, July 9, 2017 (Era: 1967-2017) Another month in the books at Project Teddy Bear & Friends! This March, we collected 76 stuffed animals, bringing our 2016 total to 175 donations. We're another step closer to our goal of 20,000 donations in our first 10 years!  Exciting news to share about Project Teddy Bear & Friends. As of March 9, 2016, Project Teddy Bear & Friends is a 501c3 non-profit organization! Whoooooohooooo!
