The Teddy Bear Den storage building was dedicated in memory to my parents, Rev. Lee and Jane Birt, who supported my ministry from the start until they passed away. They are with me in spirit and I appreciated their support and guidance.
The storage building is here! Praise the Lord. I've already put the stuff from the garage in there and tomorrow, it's the stuffed animals.
Project Teddy Bear & Friends will host an Open House and Dedication Ceremony on Sunday, October 29 at 2 pm. Light refreshments will be provided. Been looking through ministry and Project Teddy Bear pictures tonight. It's fun to remember all the wonderful people I have met through weddings, speaking engagements, VBS programs, and giving away stuffed animals. So thankful for all the opportunities it has brought. I have two speaking engagements and a wedding this month and a wedding, and fundraiser next month.
Visit our Fundraising Event Page on Facebook! Terry and Phyllis Bailey Rittenhouse, thank you so much for a monetary donation to Project Teddy Bear & Friends! Received two other donations in the past couple of weeks. You all are great! They are all helping us get closer to purchasing the Teddy Bear Den storage building. #excited #happy.
This building will make it easier for Project Teddy Bear & Friends to serve others. We also received 3 bags of stuffed animals today! Project Teddy Bear & Friends received some great last-minute donations in 2016, and the River Current included pictures of the donations in the latest edition. Check it out today! Can't wait to see where we finish up for donations in 2016 before getting started on 2017! As for 2017's donations, we're in the process of making a wishing well for future donations. Phase one is complete. Making it look like a stone well is in progress. Then, we need to 3-D the roof and buy gray paint for the well part. Hopefully be a fun way to do some fundraising for The Teddy Bear Den.
By Jeff Kelley Bringing smiles to young and old, Project Teddy Bear and Friends in West Liberty started nearly 10 years ago and reached a significant milestone earlier in November. The organization received its 20,000th stuffed animal on November 6th! In fact, earlier this week Project Teddy Bear had collected 20,137 stuffed animals. Read the rest of the article and hear the interview with WPKO's Jeff Kelly at PeakOfOhio.com! The Teddy Bear Lady will be interviewed by the WPKO Radio Station out of Bellefontaine, Ohio! The interview will be this Tuesday, but we're not sure when it will be aired. Prayers please!
